Welcome back to our brand spanking new, sass filled blog! You may have noticed we’ve had a bit of a revamp around here, and that includes our babe of a blog! To start of the newness (is that even a word!?) off in style, we’re going to take it back to last month where we had a very fun, calorie laden day in the city with some insta-queens!
We took the beautiful bloggers; Sophia, Ellen and Chyaz to the hottest spot in town; Black Milk! If you’ve not heard of Black Milk before, let me introduce you to the best dessert cafe in Manchester. Yes you heard me, DESSERT CAFE (AKA heaven).
Black Milk has caused somewhat of a media storm up here in Manchester, with ‘food porn’ pictures galore going viral and everyone wanting a piece of the freak shake (you’ll see one of those later…to DIE FOR!). So what better place to spoil our fave girls, than an instagrammable, cake filled cafe!
The guys at Black Milk originally started in Affleck’s Palace, but due to their popularity, they soon open their second branch a stones throw away on Oldham Street. The interior is perfection, with each corner giving you more instagram envy. From the palm print wallpaper, to the decorative sweet filled milk bottles, this place is a must see if you’re in the city.
Now to the important bit; the food. The menu reads like Willy Wonker’s wish list!From freak shakes, which are milkshakes topped with cake, brownies, chocolate chips, cream and sauce, to waffles which are stacked high with incredible toppings like ‘chocolate oreo’ and ‘nutella with strawberries’ (don’t even get us started on the cheese cake!).
After eating or weight in waffles, cake and cheesecake, we moved on to another major attraction of the Oldham Street store; the angel wings mural (who needs LA right!?). We were joined by the very talented Jack Gracie, who took advantage of the incredible surroundings and shot our girls in their ROR get up.
