It's one of the most glamorous nights on the fashion calender; the met gala showcases some of the most beautiful and elegant dresses (ok with a few no no's) worn by some of the world's most famous faces! We stayed up late spotting our fave outfits, so thought we'd talk about some of of the looks we loved!
Pink and red hues were a hit to say the least! Everyone from Rose Byrne, to Rita Ora were spotted wearing the colours of the season and couldn't get enough! Rose wore a flesh flashing gown from Ralph Lauren; with hair styled right from the 80s and minimal accessories, she was definitely on our lust list! Dialling up the sass, was Lily Rose Depp in a jaw dropping dress by Chanel. Showcasing her tiny waist with a corset and delicate floral details, she was turning heads on the white carpet! A classic ball gown designed by Vivienne Westwood, was worn by model Doutzen Kroes, who looked sensational in the off the shoulder number.
Katy Perry made sure she made headlines in the John Galliano creation! We're not sure just how we feel about this one, we would have liked to see Katy's new pixie cut, but it certainly grabbed our attention! We love the drama the billowing fabric creates, ensuring all eyes were on her when she made her entrance!
We were also admiring the hot new couples that had their debut at the ball, all looking incredible in their respective outfits. Kendall Jenner and ASAP Rocky (who is a BIG fashoin fan) looked super sassy in their complimenting looks. Kendall left little to the imagination in this barely there netted dress (if we looked like her we would be showing it all off too!). Selena Gomez and The Weekend also made their first red carpet appearance after looking loved up at Cochella last week. Selena looked radiant in her embellished slip dress by Coach, and The Weekend scrubbed up very nicely, looking handsome in his tuxe. We were also getting major couple envy from met gala veterans, Blake Lively and Ryan Renolds. Blake wowed in her Versace sequin body con dress with the most incredible blue feather detailing! Ryan matched her look with a blue bow tie and tailored to perfection, suit.
