It's been a busy old year for us here at ROR. We've been on many adventures, met some amazing people and best of all, created some of our favourite sassy slogans, that you guys seem to LOVE. With only a few days left until 2018, we thought we'd take a look back at some of our favourite movements of 2017, and we'd also like to take the chance to thank everyone who has been involved on our journey, it's been a fantastic 12 months, and we can't wait to show you what 2018 has to come!
Cocktails and Bloggers - Back in May we met up with some of Manchester's top bloggers; the lovely Sophia, Chyaz and Ellen. We took them to the dessert centre of the North, Black Milk, and then on to the fabulous Barn It for cocktails and manicures! It was such a great day, and we loved seeing the Instagram queens rock our sassy slogans!
Manchester Stands Together - May was also the month of the atrocious terrorist attack on our city. It had a huge impact not only on all of us here at ROR, but the whole of the city and rest of the world. Despite the anger, sadness and grief; we all stood together to show that we won't live in fear. Manchester created a sense of togetherness and empathy and we've all never been so proud to call ourselves mancunian. We will never forget the 22 lives taken that day, but we will carry on living life and celebrating this wonderful, unique city of ours.
Manchester Pride - One of our favourite weekends of the year, and 2017 was bigger and better than ever! Our wonderful illustrator, Dom and Ink, created a collection of sassy slogans that let the world know that we're Proud AF!
Glamour X Instagram Competition - Earlier this year we entered the Glamour X Instagram competition for small businesses. We had to come up with a photo the captured people's attention and showed what we were all about. We obviously went ALL OUT with this babe of a pic (can you tell we're excited about dressing up!) and we ended up being one of the winners! We we able to gain valuable advise from Instagram and work the brilliant team at Glamour mag!
Working with Soap & Glory - We have admired this pink perfection brand for years, and we've been lucky enough to team up with them twice this year for 2 exclusive competitions! We couldn't have asked for a nicer team to work with!
Halloween Shoot With Jack Gracie And Hina - Our favourite shoot of the year has to be our Halloween shoot back in September. We worked with the fabulous Hina Ansari, the queen of colour/blogger extraordinaire and the super talented Jack Gracie for this spooky shoot! Shot in the Northern Quarter, and with Hina's incredible outfits (and the odd smoke bomb) we were over the moon with how the shots turned out!
