It's a well know fact that Manchester is one of the most 'Instagrammable' cities in the world (okay, we may have made that up, but we're pretty sure it's true!). From our incredible wall art, to the stunning architecture; Manchester has plenty of snap worthy corners. In 2015 it was listed as one of the 'must see' cities of the world by the New York Times (and they know their stuff!) with our "array of cultural delights and photogenic streets" we certainly know how to make your Insta feed look cool. With new bars and restaurants opening each month, even us Mancunians find it hard to keep up with the new hot spots, and with most of us loving a cheeky shot or two (with a camera of course) we thought we'd put together our list of most Instagram worthy eateries in the city!
Epernay - Famed for it's expertise in all things Champagne, this stunning bar has floor to ceiling windows decorated with fairy lights. It's sophisticated and chic and perfect for evening drinks!
Menagerie - This restaurant and club is well renowned for it's party atmosphere! From giant golden angel wings over the bar, to a giant bird cage you can eat in - this place is FULL of props worthy of any Insta queen's feed!
The Refuge - Transformed from the old Palace Hotel, The Refuge is the new 'must see' venue in town. It includes a stunning Winter Garden in the centre of the restaurant, where you can feel transported to another world. Beautifully light and airy, it's a space of calm in the centre of our busy city.
Tattu - A long time favourite of the city; this dark and sultry restaurant is absolutely stunning. With intricate carved dark wood wherever you turn, and the incredible life size blossom tree, you can't help but be overwhelmed by the beauty of the place!
The South Terrace @ King Street Townhouse - With one of the best views in the city, this bar and restaurant definitely has the 'wow' factor! Grab cocktails whilst watching the sunset over the Manchester Town Hall, and take in the cities sites from a new perspective!
The Teepee @ The Oast House - You know it's Christmas time when the Teepee comes out! Yes, this picturesque festive venue is perfect for winter drinks with friends. With a roaring fire and fur blankets in case you get cold; you definitely have to try a mulled wine under the fair lights!
Rosylee - With it's black and white chequered floor and hanging greenery dotted with fairy lights, this place is truly magical little spot. Take a seat in one of the booths for the best view of the beautiful space!
The Alchemist Media City - With it's space age design and the best view in Salford (basically Manchester...) the latest Alchemist venue opened this summer. Already gaining hot spot status, this place is definitely worth a visit!
Grand Pacific - Another newbie, and yet another amazing Instagrammable venue! Yes, this 1920's, art deco inspired architectural delight is stunning the Manchester scene. With an array of chandeliers, golden pineapples and a staircase straight out of a movie set, this place is IG heaven!
Cloud 23 @ The Hilton - An oldie but a goodie! You'll find possible the best view of the entire city at the top of the tallest building in Manchester; The Hilton. This ultra swanky bar let's you enjoy cocktails at a height certainly not for the faint hearted!
