Race for Life is the largest women-only fundraising event in the UK!
The race is designed to let women of all ages (and fitness levels!) come together across the UK to walk, jog or run and raise money for Cancer Research. ,Since Race for Life began in 1994 an incredible 5.4 million participants across the UK have raised over ?362 million to fund the work of Cancer Research.
Some Race for Life women take part to celebrate the fact that they´ve survived a cancer experience?. Others take part in memory of a loved one and to give hope to a cancer-free future?
But whatever the reasons behind entering, there is only one goal: to raise money for Cancer Research UK and to help save more lives.
So, why not get fit and get involved?!
