In January Australia was met with some of the worst wild fires they've ever had and so we all came together to raise money for the emergency services and charities over there. We joined forces with the amazing Dom&Ink and created a charity t-shirt and sweatshirt of which all the proceeds went to The Red Cross. Because of all your support, by the end of January we were able to donate £500!
In February we collaborated with Just Harry Designs and brought you these super cute (and sustainable!) key chains for valentines day.
At the start of March (just before the world went mad) we were able to travel down to London for a meeting with Not On The High Street and discuss all our upcoming product ideas!
We also released our Revolution tops for International Women's Day to help support the Princes Trust with Not On The High Street. 10% of the proceeds went to The Prince's Trust ‘Women Supporting Women’ initiative, which helps young women gain the skills needed to live, learn and earn.
Then everything went a bit crazy and we went into Lockdown. We weren't sure what that would mean for the future of Rock On Ruby at first, but you were all so quick to show your support for our business!
In April, we had a pair of our sassy "Who run the world" socks feature in a Books That Matter monthly subscription box. It was the perfect Lockdown distraction! It also introduced us to some phenomenal women that we loved hearing about.

July brought the summer heat and with it an ROR summer shoot! Morgan shot some super summery pics of our new capsule collection completely outdoors (to stick with corona restrictions!). This collection also started our obsession with tie dye!
In August we amped up the photoshoots even more and reshot a large part of our website! We went to editorial studios in Manchester which was the coolest setting for our tops! We are absolutely loving the cohesive look on our site!
October brought a huge amount of new products to our site! Our unreal, super oversized tie dye tops were launched as well as our embroidered star tops, new totes, a dog lovers range and even more!
And then we also collaborated with Lauren Aston Designs and filled all your knitting clothing needs...
And then if that wasn't enough, we also changed our name to Rock On Ruby LTD on all our socials - just to confuse you all!
In November we updated our sweatshirts. These new tops have the same relaxed fit, but are even softer and are available up to size XXL!
And then the Christmas madness began...
Despite everything that has happened in 2020, we've had an amazing year and want to say one last giant thank you to everyone that has supported us - even if it did mean working 12 hour shifts in December! While it feels like a bit of a jinx to actually say it, we can't wait to see what 2021 brings.
We definitely recommend to go through your camera roll and pick some of the highlights of your year, it really helps give a positive outlook on a pretty negative year.
What was your 2020 highlight?
Bethan ROR xx
