Pride season is upon us! It's basically like a second Christmas to us, with the sassiest Pride happening just down the road (Manchester Pride obvs, not that we're biased at ALL). It's full of love, celebrating being human and involves lots of partying. Having attended numerous Pride festivals over the years, we thought we'd put together a little guide of the things we ALWAYS see no matter where in the world!
Glitter - You think we're bad here at ROR, wait till you've attended Pride, where glitter is literally lining the streets! Body glitter, body jewels, sequins - oh yes, you'll be finding in glitter in places you didn't know existed!
Rainbows - Again, we're partial to a few rainbows here and there, but nothing can compete with the level of rainbow sass you find at pride. Everything gets a rainbow make over! The classic symbol of LGBTQ pride, we can't get enough!
Latex - Yeah, something we're not so into here at ROR, mainly because, I mean who DOES look good in latex!? Well you'll no doubt find out at Pride! It's not for the lighthearted...you'll see things you won't forget in a hurry. From full body suits, to masks, oh yes there are latex accessories you didn't think were humanly possible...
Drag Queens - It wouldn't be Pride without some super hot drag queens! Fabulous, beautiful and sassy, they make take the festivities to the next level of hot!
Hot Men - Unfortunately for us, they're gay, but we still enjoy the show! Oh yes, Pride is a feast for the eyes and if it's hot, you'll get topless hot men! Not that we're objectifying them at all...(sorry not sorry).
Confused Straight People - Yup, no matter where you are in the world, you will spot some totally bemused straight people who have no clue what is going on. Obviously all the clues are there, and if you accidentally stumble across the festivities then you're going to have one hell of a good time!
Happiness - YAS. This is the time to celebrate all the good things in the world; love, acceptance, pride, togetherness and everything else positive! It's has the best vibes, everyone is there for a good time and you will leave feeling super happy (we promise!).
Festive Animals - Oh yes, you'll see lots of animals joining in the festivities! Think sassy outfits, rainbow fur and general fabulousness! Woof!
