Oh Freshers week. The beginning of what may just be, the best chapter of your life. With new starts, new cities and maybe even a new relationship (or 2), we wanted to use our knowledge to help guide you through a week that should be sponsored by the phrase 'What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger' - if you're anything like us, you'll probs feel dead at the end of it.
Learn To Cook - Ok, so may sound boring, but it literally is a skill for survival. Even if it's just learning how to heat up bake beans, it's an absolute necessity if you don't want to end up eating dry pasta and tomato ketchup (true story).
Don't Drink EVERYTHING On The First Day - Yeah, so we sound like party poopers, but honestly, we learnt the hard way. Try and pace yourself...it works out for a longer, better week!
Go To All The Parties - Yay, this is more like it! But it really is the best way to meet new people, see new places and basically work out which of your new friends live nearest to your fave club, so you can save money on Ubers!
Get Out Of The Dorms - May sound like this would never be an issue, but believe me, after 3 days of non stop partying, all you want to do is stay in bed and eat junk food - DON'T! You'll get homesick, probably start questioning your whole reason for starting uni and end up spending your maintenance loan on ASOS.
ENJOY! - Yup, the main and most important one. ENJOY IT ALL. It's an exciting time and you deserve to let your hair down before the hard work begins, just try to survive and you'll be fine!
