So we came up with the idea of the Clothes Swap right after Christmas - we wanted to do our Christmas Party all over again...but were feeling quite poor and our wardrobes needed a Spring Clean! So what better thing to do than organise a Clothes Swap?! Now this would have been done quite easily with our little team, but we wanted some other fashionable ladies to get involved... So we sent out invites and suddenly around 30 bloggers were very keen to be involved!
The aim was firstly, to get rid of unwanted items, but also to get Bloggers mingling and introduced to each other... So each girl tagged up her items with a label that said who it was from (insert blog name) and why she was swapping it! Perfect - a new friend and a little bit of history!
The items were then hung up on our Clothes rail unti the swap began. Each girl was given a beauty or clothing voucher for each item that she brought with her so she could then swap this for something new - fashionable but fair :-)
Font Bar was the perfect venue! With twinkly fairy lights, checked table cloths and our bunting, the place looked like a cute little boutique...
Each girl brought AMAZING items! From sequinned dresses and brand new shirts, to stila lipglosses, the haul was totally Blogworthy!
And as Swapping is such thirsty work, we were glad to chill out and talk after with these fab cocktails - A Kiss From Ruby was only £2 (thanks Font Bar!!)
So there you go girls, Waste not, Clothes Swap!!
