Rob Da Bank, who organises the festival, revealed the Fancy Dress code last week on the official website. Apparently the Festival will be based on a ´Rock Stars, Pop Stars and Divas´ Theme!
The Radio One DJ is keen for Festival-goers to make themselves stand out by wearing ?outrageous, weird and downright flamboyant outfits? at the event! ,
Bestival is held on the Isle of Wight and which will take place between September 8th and 11th near Newport. He added that great Fancy Dress Costumes are part of the festival´s tradition and that this years theme should allow attendees to come up with plenty of different ideas.
Rob Da Bank said ?I´d love to see some Frank Zappas, Captain Beefhearts, Skream and Bengas or a Karen Carpenter as much as the better known faces,? ,
(We think our Celebrity Masks would go down a treat!)
The 2011 Bestival line-up includes a string of big-name musical acts from many different genres, such as DJ Shadow, The Cure and 65 Days of Static.Exciting Stuff!!
