First things first... coffee. This time we were shooting at Beehive Manchester which was luckily right next door to a coffee place, so of course we made the most of that. Once sufficiently caffeinated we had to set up the studio. This meant organising the clothes rail of clothes we had to shoot into order of our new collections, setting up the set for the first batch of tops and sorting lighting out for this as well. We went for a pink background with a rustic, pastel blue pallet and plenty of flowers, blankets and cushions to pretty up the place!
For our second collection we had a very different vibe! This studio had an amazing, canvas backdrop and wicker chair (that we really think we need in the office now...) that looked perfect with our pampas grass for this muted, relaxed look. Once this was set up, Morgan got to shooting our new wedding tops. There were plenty to go through as we've now expanded the range to cover everyone in your wedding party! Because of the rule of 6 Graham had to get his modelling moves out once again to help us out!
We had plenty of prosecco (non-alcoholic of course during work hours!) and snacks from an amazing bakery. The same bakery supplied the HUGE sausage rolls for lunch too! Then it was onto the popcorn and Boxtails for the next batch of tops.
This collection was what we've dubbed "the rock 'n' roll bride" collection. It has much more of a party feel than the previous tops and so wanted to show this through the set. So we changed it once again! We kept this simple with the plain white wall, wooden stool and some layered rugs. Then we threw confetti and balloons over the whole thing
Then, when it got to 5 o'clock and we had hurried our way through our final tops, it was time to pack up. The clothes rail got packed into bin bags, the props were boxed away and we packed up all our left over snacks - perfect for the journey home!
Which set is your favourite?!
