Known as "the greatest outdoor show on earth", the event has been running since 1884 and attracts cowboys from all over Canada as they compete for $2 million in prize money!
The couple arrived in style on an authentic 1912 stage coach wearing full on Cowboy Costumes! The royal couple received a traditional cowboy welcome with 10 gallon hats as they landed in Calgary, before heading off to the famous Calgary Stampede - the worlds best Rodeo!
Kate looked like the perfect Cowgirl in a pair of fitted jeans, a white Alice Temperley shirt and of course a matching white Cowboy Hat! The couple watched in awe as young children ? known as "mutton busters" - rode bucking sheep bareback! Before several cowboys demonstrated their skills on a particularly angry looking bull.
Later, Will and Kate posed for the Paps with a pair of authentic Canadian Indians who wore complete Indian Costumes and large Indian Headdresses....
Before leaving the Stampede, Will gave a speech thanking the Canadian people for the warmth of their welcome. He said: "In 1939, my great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, said of her first Tour of Canada with her husband, King George VI: `Canada made us`. Catherine and I now know very well what she meant. Canada has far surpassed all that we were promised. Our promise to Canada is that we shall return."
